Petition for Exception to Registration Policies

A student who has declared a major, has passed the writing portfolio, and wishes to graduate in fewer than 12 terms may petition to Accelerate Graduation if they are able to complete their requirements in less than 12 terms.

Students wishing to declare a double major must obtain the approval of the chairs of the two departments concerned and provide a detailed course plan for the two majors.

Students wishing to drop a second major must submit this form explaining their reasons for doing so.

Students seeking a major not offered in the College’s established curriculum may propose a self-designed Special Major for approval by the Academic Standing Committee.
