Carleton’s four-year Public Works Initiative supported by funding from the Mellon Foundation began in July 2017. Now in our third year, we continue to support public-centered work in the arts and humanities based on collaborative, community partnerships.
Over the last two years, the grant has supported 72 faculty development projects, workshops, and events, involving community partners from as close as a few blocks from Carleton to as far as an ocean away.
