Student Ambassadors
Hello! My name is Jaxon Alston. I am a first year student from Hamden, Connecticut, and I am planning on majoring in Political Science. Even though I am just a beginning tennis player, I love playing club tennis at Carleton. I am also involved in the Black Student Alliance, Model U.N., and the Carleton Singing Knights. My academic goal at Carleton is to become more knowledgeable about political science and the American government.

Hi! My name is Ann Beimers, and I am in the class of 2023. Although I have yet to decide on a major, I am interested in chemistry, computer science, and math. Outside of class and StAmP, I am often in the Weitz Center playing my bass or spending time in the arb. I really enjoy working creatively, fostering connections with new people, and contributing to the Carleton community.

Hi! My name is Isabella and I am a sophomore Cognitive Science major from Arden Hills, Minnesota. Here at Carleton, I have a lot of fun participating in dance groups, like Synchrony II and WHOA, playing on NOVA, and squeezing time into my schedule to play the cello, too! As a part of StAmP, I’m excited to talk with Alumni volunteers and find out what it was about their Carleton experience that makes them excited about giving their time and support to Carleton!

Hi! I’m Tyler Chang, class of ‘20! I’m from near Jack’s favorite DMV, San Diego! I’m a Math/Cognitive Science double major, and boy do I love it! I’m taking Intro to CogSci this term (*outdated) – really interesting stuff! When I’m not getting this bread at fabled Bird House, I’m living my enigmatic life and sleeping in my suite in Memo! What a life! I’m hoping to learn more about the subtle art of bird calling on my whimsical walks through the arb (*outdated — it’s too cold now).
Hello! My name is Diaraye Diallo. I am a member of the class of 2023 from Denver, Colorado and currently, my interest lies within Economics, French and Public Policy. At Carleton, I really have enjoyed the accessibility to exploring various relationships, building community and connections, as well as learn from each other. Ultimately, I am really excited to work with StAmp in fostering campus culture while strengthening our community.

Hi! I’m Kristie and I am a junior economics major at Carleton. I have been working with the Alumni Annual Fund since I was a freshman. I love Carleton because of the amazing community of people with different interests, and passionate profs who are dedicated to helping their students. Outside of classes, I enjoy dancing and gymnastics. I dance at the rec center and have been involved in Experimental Dance Board. I have also been in gymnastics club for the past two years. I would say my strengths are talking to people and diffusing certain situations. I am excited to be more involved with the Alumni Annual Fund this year!
Hi! My name is Aidan Martin and I’m a member of the class of 2023 here at Carleton. I’m originally from Santa Fe, New Mexico but I’ve spent most of my life living in Portland, Oregon. I’m Pre Med and planning to major in biology. I’ve played basketball almost all my life and feel lucky to be a part of the varsity team here. I also enjoy playing the guitar and am part of a band back home in Portland. As part of StAmP, I am excited to connect with alumni and have a positive impact on the Carleton community. Go Knights!

Hello everyone! My name is Isabella Pozzi and I’m a member of the Class of 2023. When I’m not working at StAmP, you can find me reading in the library or rolling dice with the Carleton Roleplaying Club. I’m a flexible teammate, tenaciously hard worker, and a seasoned expert of all manner of craft supplies. I can’t wait to learn all about Carleton’s traditions and explore the Neuroscience department. If you see me around campus, don’t be afraid to give me a wave!
Hello! My name is Rainey, and I am a first-year from South Pasadena, California. I have not decided on a major yet, but my academic interests include anything in the sciences and the environment. Outside of studying and StAmP, I am a midfielder for the Carleton Women’s Soccer team and enjoy spending time with my friends. I am looking forward to my first year at Carleton!
Hi! I’m Jack, a sophomore from Southern California here at Carleton College! I’m a math major, but don’t be fooled – I’m a Jack-of-all-trades (or at least more than just math). When I’m not struggling with basic arithmetic, you can find me in the Weitz wailing on sax, at the Rec climbing, or locked in my room with Flavor Blasted Goldfish wondering why my most recent coding project doesn’t work. I’m looking forward to helping connect current Carleton students with our Alumni community!
Hello, my name is Patrick Wolesky and I am a first-year from Corona, Ca. I chose Carleton because of the great community and top notch academics. On campus I am a football player and student ambassador. My greatest strengths are my communication skills and my ability to adapt. At Carleton I am very eager to learn more about Computer Science and I can’t wait to take philosophy courses.
